All team members are expected to dress and act in a manner that shows respect to residents and enhances your ability to perform your duties. You must be neat, clean and well-groomed in your appearance and follow company and departmental grooming and dress code standards. To assist you in projecting your best image, we have set the following grooming and dress standards to be maintained by all of the team members. Additional guidelines may be in effect in work areas with safety and sanitation requirements.
Professional Image- Other
Communicate clearly with residents. Speak slowly and enunciate your words well. Chewing gum interferes with clear enunciation of words and can be offensive to others, especially when talking on the telephone or wherein conversation with residents. Be a good listener.
Expectations: Any medical or religious expectations to the grooming standards must be presented to the executive director in writing for review and determination.
It is each team member’s responsibility to abide by this policy. If you report to work in an unprofessional appearance or dress, or in any of these standards are not met, the company reserves the right to not permit you to work until the problem is corrected.
